Rugged Blast Resistance Buildings are designed to meet the requirements of the International Building Code (IBC), and the design loads as specified in the American Society of Civil Engineers “Minimum Design Loads for Buildings and Other Structures (ASCE 7).  The Rugged “Blast” Building designs are further reviewed by an Independent 3rd party Engineering firm that will certify your building drawings providing state seal approval in multiple states, giving you the most versatility for your fleet.

Each Rugged Blast Resistance Building complies with State Energy Codes designated in the State Seal Packages.  Rugged Buildings strives to preserve energy consumption by designing energy efficient buildings regarding heating, cooling, ventilating and lighting.

Each Rugged Blast Resistance Building is compliant to the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) for fire protection, and the National Electrical Code (NEC) for electrical compliance.  Every component installed on our Blast Buildings conforms to Underwriters Laboratory (UL)Underwriters Laboratory of Canada (ULC), and/or Canadian Standards Association (CSA)

Rugged Blast Buildings are continuously welded on structural members and exterior joints for maximum strength, and to keep foreign materials out.  The Rugged Buildings manufacturing facility is certified with the American Welding Society (AWS) and the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB)

Upon request our Rugged Support Services Team will refer to the American Petroleum Institute Standard – API RP 753:2007(R2020) to assist you with locating and orientating your blast resistant structure.  Our Rugged Support Services Team can visit your site and provide technical expertise on how to minimize risks and hazards keeping your personnel and equipment safe.
